“Pro-Palestine” students, professors, and others protesting on college campuses perfectly epitomize the entitlement of progressive ideology, which has them thinking they should be able to be as awful as they want with no negative consequences while the world should bend to their every whim.
Students and professors are demanding “amnesty” from universities, according to the Associated Press, because they do not want their pro-terrorist demonstrations that are disrupting university life to affect their final exams or future career options. Students violating university rules while taking part in antisemitic demonstrations alongside people harassing Jewish students don’t want their suspensions to affect their job prospects or their arrests to stay on their legal record.
In other words, these protesters want the entire world to listen to them without knowing to whom it is they are listening. It is why many of these protesters, both students and professors, are wearing masks, trying to stop people from recording them, and setting up their own border control regime to prevent people from waltzing into their antisemitic encampments with cameras. They want to have a “revolutionary” protest with none of the risks and all of the rewards.
In the meantime, they continue to whine about everything in their way. Students at Vanderbilt University complained that they weren’t allowed to assault university staff or police officers without facing discipline. Some protesters are complaining about not being allowed to trespass at private residences, while others are like Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) daughter, an uber-privileged elitist at a $90,000-tuition university claiming she is homeless and starving after getting suspended by the university.

This is what happens when an ideology encourages children and young adults to jump into activism while handing them everything they demand along the way. These same students want to attend college for free (courtesy of taking out student loans they expect taxpayers to pay for them) to not even focus on college but on their activism. Their activist professors encourage them while flaunting their credentials as if they are experts on human rights because they teach “Decolonial-Queerness & Abolition.”
Again, they are doing all of this while supporting genocidal antisemitic terrorists who slaughtered 1,200 Israeli civilians and have made it their stated goal to kill Jews everywhere. Either by their own bigotry or their own ego-driven ignorance, their protests are pro-war, pro-terrorist, and pro-genocide. They just don’t want any of the consequences associated with holding that position.
